About Marianne
Mari-anne Stabenau is a daughter of the Lowcountry. She spent her childhood in Sullivan's Island and Mount Pleasant, and was brought up swimming and shrimping in the ocean and tidal creeks of the area. After years moving around the Southeast as an adult, with time spent in Charlotte, Miami, and Atlanta, she decided that there was nowhere else in the world that she'd rather be than back home in Charleston. She spends much of her spare time continuing to explore the Charleston area, taking a particular interest in the region's world-renowned cuisine.
She brings her love of the Lowcountry to her work, which she sees as an opportunity to share her knowledge of the region and its culture to new neighbors. After over 20 years in the travel industry, working with a wide range of corporate and private clients, she gained a keen understanding of how to tailor the perfect experience for her clients, which she brought with her into Real Estate: to her, there is nothing more important than finding her clients the right place to put down roots.
